Indians are playing cricket for a long time, but till now they have just managed to win only one (1) world cup way back in 1983 and one 20-20 world cup. Indians are always failed to give consistent performance under pressure. What's the reason, i can't understand. In any match which is played in India, their performance improves dramatically, but on foreign ground their performance is below average. What should be the done by selection board of Indian cricket to improve this? Any idea.??????

Not many teams are consistent performers. May be except for australia no team has been a consistent performer. South africa which has one solid team and has been playing international cricket from 92', even they have not won one world cup or not even gone to the finals of one of them. But india has won one and reached the finals of 03' world cup. About the performances in india i agree that india prepares pitches which favors their bowling that is spin. May there needs a change in the pitches atleast for a few of them for india to cope up with the foreign pitches. when domestic player are brought up on pitches which are similar to the foreign ones then our future is surely going to be bright. And we will be a consistent performer not only in indian pitches but also in foreign tours

Yes, I agree with you Indian pitches are prepared for spin bowling and some changes are required in this. As you have mentioned about South Africa, they are playing International Cricket from '92, but before India they are like child and still they are making their presence in International Cricket, if they can do this in such a short time, then why can we? Winning or Losing is a result, at least we should give our best, and in this field, Indian Cricket Team is lacking they totally give up in adverse situation.
