Ok before you start reporting this discussion and my ratings start going down there is a reason I put that there. My SO is has been calling me this since I have gotten my puppy. LOL!! Becuase I'm the Person In Management Position. LOL!! get it P.I.M.P. LOL!! The reason he says this is becuase I will be managing my pup when he gets old enough to stud out. LOL!!
So are you a person in management position and have you ever thought of the initials coming up with the word P.I.M.P.?

Interesting question, bellaofchaos!
There are some valid usages where things are literally abbreviated as P.I.M.P and then there are situations where I or friends of mine have used expressions in this abbreviated form.
Some that come to my mind are; When someone is being excessively thrifty while paying the bill in restaurant one would say 'P.I.M.P.' man, meaning 'Pay It More Politely'. Sometimes, 'It's P.I.M.P.' i.e. 'Partner Is Minding Practice' or 'Partner Is in Muddy Pool'.
Some common usages are like:
Plug-In Mini Packager (or packaging)
Positive Intake Manifold Pressure
Prometheus Internet Mail Program
Personal Internet Mail Processor
Paid Internal Management Procedure(s)
Prometheus Internet Mail Program

He has a weird sense of humor and I just have learned to ignore it. LOL!! But I think the first time he mentioned I hit him in the arm and said don't say that. I'm not a pimp...
