I am fortunate enough to be English and I find it quite hard to learn other languages. I find that many countries, especially in Europe, are teaching English as their second languages, so it seems to be one of the most common languages around the world. Even school kids in England struggle with all of the verbs and grammar, so there are lots of English people who do not speak good English. It is a very complicated language. The best way is to practice at every opportunity. Whenever you come in contact with someone who speaks English, try to pickup one or two phrases. Ask them to correct you if you go wrong, it will help you the next time. Keep at it :)

Dear, To learn any language you need interest. That is about 75 percent and then availability of someone who can teach you and correct you whenever you make any mistakes. You can get a spoken english CD which is available everywhere I think. If it is for written english you have to get your grammer right. there are sites for that in the net itself. They can teach you spellings and the grammer nicely. Try to write what you think on to a paper. While doing that get used to those words by saying them aloud.
