No i dont think you can classify a whole generation as disrespectfull, sure there are people who are but then there are many who are not.
Some of the older generation nowadays are worse than the younger ones if you ask me!

yes they are, they don't adhere to the old values of respecting elders, for them everyone is the same young or old.

i am an older person myself im 69 and I feel folks are wrong at any age to "demand" respect !Respect my friend has to be earned not demanded!and believe me there is no fool like an old fool so why respect an idiot????

Every generation believes the following generation is disrespectful. The only question seems to be at what age you'll start believing that. The elderly have been saying "kids these days" since the beginning of the human race. People tend to forget what it was like when they were younger, and how they behaved.
That being said, someone needs to teach these whippersnappers a lesson, gosh darn it! Now get off my lawn so I can go back to watching Matlock!

Hello, dixie! I myself feel the same thing.i am a senior citizen and feel the younger people neglecting their parents in their old age.it is not only the case of my friends or relatives but this sort of disrespect you can experience throughout the world.this is the generation gap.
