I want to ask out a guy!

It is conservative opinion that guy should be more intiative than girl. A girl is appropriate to invite guy to be out. It depends on his own mind but others' view.

Go for it. He may be a little too shy to ask you, then what a waste of maybe a very happy relationship. Don't die wondering!

I say go for it. There's nothing wrong with girls asking guys out. Just be confident and relaxed; don't try to act like someone you are not, just be you. :]

This is the second thread to make me feel old fashioned in like 5 minutes lol but I prefer the man to do the asking. But if you feel confident enough to ask then go for it!!! I certainly dont think its inappropriate to ask a man out x

oh why on earth would you think that it isn't appropriate for a girl to ask a guy out.i think it's time you stand up for your own self and if you want to date this guy just go out there and ask him out.rather a couple of men friends i have like it when a girl asks them out they feel good about a girl taking an initiative and they feel that they are worth taking an interest in.if you like a guy and if you feel that you would like to get to know him better you simply walk up to him and ask him out,

Why not?! It may be that he is shy (lots of guys are, you'd be surprised), and it may be that you both like each other. If you don't pluck up the courage, there is a possibility that you will kick yourself later.

why ever not? if you feel confident enough to ask this guy out then there is no reason what so ever that you shouldn't. we are not in the dark ages anymore, equal opps and all that! you go for it girl and i wish you all the best.
