What's the best alternative?

Hi there. As it happens, I was recently left without medical insurance. ( doh :( ) My question to you is, what is a good alternative when you are unable to pay for regular prescription medicines ( or a visit to the Dr. )to cure whatever ails you. I thought maybe homeopathy? I read a bit about the subject and I have seen a lot of different opinions. So let's just say homeopathy is a good alternative. Do any of you have any good remedies for common maladies? I'd really appreciate any suggestions because wading through the mountain of pages and websites on the topic and recipes would take me FOREVER so I thought I'd let some of you more knowledgeable people answer FOR me haha. Also, if you feel that homeopathy is NOT a good alternative or you have a BETTER suggestion, ( besides GET INSURANCE because obviously I'd have it if it was financially possible at this time ) then I am open to and very much appreciative of ANY suggestions of ANY kind.
