Do Liberals Even Listen to Their Own Arguments?

I'm wondering if Liberals listen to their own arguments, because they don't seem to care if what they are saying holds any water. Back when I was in Desert Storm, a small but vocal group of liberals coined the slogan "No Blood for Oil". It was their contention then that the only reason the U.S. agreed to free Kuwait from the Hussein regime was oil. The ceasefire of 1991 proved them wrong when there was absolutely no mention of oil in the terms. If was further proven wrong when the U.S. returned every oil well that fell within the areas of Iraq occupied up until the time the Coalition redeployed. Today the anti war movement is bigger and louder, but the slogan isn't any more true. The concept that the U.S. is only there for oil has been disproven many times... but that doesn't seem to matter to liberals... because facts are something they don't care about. Another bit of evidence that Liberals don't listen to their own arguments... Concealled Carry Laws. When they come up here in Wisconsin, some brain dead Liberal always says something like, "We don't want Wisconsin to become like the old west".. that or, "it will only increase the chances of guns being pulled during simple altercations". Give me a break! Most of the U.S. states allow for concealled carry. Not ONE state has become like, "The old west" and no gun grabbing, anti freedom goon can come up with 1 example of a concealled carry holder using a gun in a violent crime. Meanwhile, Milwaukee has a murder rate HIGHER than Dodge City and Tombstone put together and their waste of human flesh Attorney General brings charges against EVERY person who uses a gun to defend themselves... even if he didn't bring charges against the perpetrator. Can someone please explain to me why liberals continue to use arguments that only prove how ignorant they are?

This attorney general is treading some very dangerous water. We DO have the right to defend ourselves, and he is setting himself up for a major lawsuit of Constitutional proportions. Wisconsin needs to draw up and pass what is commonly referred to as a Castle Law, which acknowledges that we are are responsible for our own defense. It is so named after the concept of people being the "kings" of their own castles or homes. The old west wasn't really like it is portrayed... the whole thing is pretty much romanticized with accounts of individuals who were larger than life. Liberals use these arguments because they work. There are people who are actually stupid enough to believe this type of mindless drivel.
