Ah, pleasure to have you onboard. You'll find several like minded people on here. Some are more open than others about their religious preferences. Some of us just don't bring it up in public so we don't get hit in the head with a Bible.

I dont think anything...I'm Pagan myself (not Wiccan though) and have been for several yrs now so of course I am not uneducated about it...Regardless of that though, to me what a person believes spiritually is really none of my damn biz and not a factor in whether or not I'd be friends with them etc etc....I'm just not like that...

when someone tells me they are a Wiccan, I think they're either A. initiated into a modern Pagan initiatory mystery tradition, started by Gerald Gardner in the 1950s following the repeal of the Witchcraft act in 1951, with their coven able to trace its lineage back to Gardners B. Initiated into an Alexandrian Coven, an offshoot of Gardnerian Wicca. C. if none of the above, then I think they don't know what they're talking about, or what a Wiccan actually is.

I have a very good friend who is wiccan.I know some of the wiccan ways even though I am not wiccan my self. When he told his family and his friends they didn't understand and stopped coming around him.It is sad that he has so many problems with his family jsut because he believes different.I my self try to be open and understanding. So many different people in this world so many different beliefs. It is sad that life is hard for him just becasue he is wiccan.I am sorry you are having such a hard time just because of your wiccan pratice.

Wicca? I've met few people who were wiccans and my opinion, in general, would be affected by them. Thus, I have to say, without allowances for the person and how they present themselves, I am not impressed by Wicca. Not that I care to be prejudiced against someone. In fact, if I had to rate people, Wiccans are probably above Jehova Witnesses and many other religions. See, the prime rule for me is the proper and respectful treatment of others. The golden rule. I think I mistrust Mormons and Scientologists more than Wiccans. I don't believe in magic spells that influence other people. I believe in prayers which improve yourself. Other that that difference, so long as they are respectful of others it won't bother me.

Daddyoftherose.I'm gussin you are an adult. So I must say in my years grown up.I have learned not to judge a book by it's cover.Just because a few people who were wiccan did you wrong.Doesn't mean every wiccan is like that. Were just like normal people. But just as normal people 2 people are not alike. They may have similarites but they are not exactly the same. From what your sayin about not trusting Jehova Witnesses or Mormons and scientologists. And many other Religions sounds like your being races.Only difference is being races you discriminate against another color or religion by a group. But it's more like your Bias.Bias is where because one person did you wrong so you discriminate against a whole culture/color/or religion. Some people may have different believes. And you seem like your a very religiouse type person. But if you are.You would have read the bible.Which states god doens't want racist or none of that in this world. Why can't everyone just like everyone. And for everyone to get alone. What I'm tryin to say is.Don't be bias and hate a whole group of people because a few did you wrong.Because one person doesn't like what your wearing or what you say.Your religion or anyhing like that.Doesnt mean the entire world is against it.Yet again.Never judge a book by a cover.Get to know someone before you judge them.

When someone tells me that they are Wiccan I usually think "Merry Meet!" followed fairly closely by saying it. ;) So, Merry Meet Enola!
