well the place I live in Birmingham has a bookshop with an array of X'mas Craft books. I too am very fond of making X'mas crafts especially X'mas cards. I use to make my own X'mas Cards Usinf LAce(pronounced Lassay),Pop up cards, folding techniques...In my hometown Goa we have a tradition of hanging a star outside each ones home, I used to make a Star on my own out of candy sticks, it would take me nearly 2months to make it but eventually you could see my piece of work out on the front porch. So if you do need help do let me know I may be able to help you out.

Hi. I'm not sure how good I am at crafts or ideas, but heres's one I think is great. You know those clear plastic containers that you can buy bulk jams, honey and the like? Well, you get six of those. I believe they cost ten cents when bought empty. For a Christmas gift for a child three to ten, you fill each one of the containers with a different colour of home-made play dough. Add a few cookie cutters, a small rolling pin, and plastic knife and a placemat, and Voila! Instant gift. Play dough recipe: 2C. white flour 2C. table salt 1C. cold water Place all this in a saucepan on very low heat and stir until thick. Remove from pan and knead on a floured surface. Divide dough into six portions. With food colouring, dye each portion a different colour; red, yellow, blue, orange, greeen, brown. Place each in one of the clear plastic containers. This play dough will last forever in the fridge. P.S. Adults like this play dough too. It is a good stress reliever! Have fun!

I was thinking of trying to do this christmas craft project and turn it into a business, or market stall anyway, please let me know what you think, its not all that original... I want ot get plain various coloured christmas baubles and write on them with glitter pen, a childs name and the year, a pets name,a title such as Mummy and so forth, or even a simple pictur, then tie a colured ribbon in a bow around the top. What do you think?
