Out of the following ten questions, how many do you think you can get right? All of these questions should be expected for a fifth grader to know the answers to. Try not to look at the answers until you've answered all of the questions first.
Questions:
1. How many sides does a heptagon have?
2. True or false: The word "carefully" is an adjective.
3. What planet is closest to the sun?
4. True or false: The emu is the fastest bird on land.
5. If you have a gross of pencils, how many pencils do you have?
6. What color do you get when you mix an equal amount of blue and red?
7. Who was the first president of the United States?
8. Which number is not prime: 13, 23, 33, 43, or 53?
9. True or false: Dolphin are fish.
10. Bobby has 6 pairs of shoes and 9 pairs of socks. How many different combinations can he make with these items?
Answers:
1. Seven
2. False, it is an adverb
3. Mercury
4. False, the ostrich is the fastest bird on land
5. 144
6. Purple
7. George Washington
8. 33, it is divisible by 11

How many answers did you get? You'd have to get them all to be considered smarter than a fifth grader!

I am not smarter than a 5th grader
I got question number 5 wrong
, a "gross"... I think I've come across that term before, but it's not a term I use frequently (aka I haven't used that word ever, in my entire life. I just say the number :P). Oh well, 9/10 isn't too bad I suppose... :/
