Is Pink really the new Black? Do women like men wearing Pink?

the world of fashion is getting stranger and stranger.. Just a few days ago one of my close fren came to visit me.. and i noticed that he was wearing a pink shirt(like a light pink shirt). Ok me, i personally feel that pink looks beautiful on girls and also because it a very attractive color and it draws attention.. and women like attention.
So i asked my mate, "did you mix your washing, cause i think your shirt looks pink" and he says.. "no no.. u are seeing right.. the shirt is pink". Then he looks at me and says.. " Haven't you heard mate... Pink is the new Black". Since my mate has told me this, i have heard more and more of this phrase on the streets and i see more men wearing pink..
There was a Bundaberg rum which showed this Polar Beer dyed in pink and all the ladies hittin at him in the party cause he was pink..
So my question is?
Is pink really the new black?
Do the women really like men wearing pink?
Do other men out there think wearing pink by men was fine?
No offence, i like color pink.. but don't think men should be wearing pink. Or am i missing something here..

hehe.. i am scared that one day my girlfriend will go and buy me a pink shirt for a present and i will have to wear it with a smile just to not break her heart.. :)
I prey to god not to give her this idea.. haha :)

Some men look fantastic wearing a pink shirt with black trousers or blue jeans. For me I think that's the limit though. I'd look twice if it was a black shirt with pink trousers! I don't think it's a gender thing, more a fashion look - hmmmm, I think that applies to women too! The complexion of some guys allows them to wear pink and hold it very well.

Pink seems to be the "in" colour for men at the moment. A lot of them are wearing it, especially in polo shirts. I haven't heard that pink is the new black, but it's a feasible comment. I have no problem with men wearing pink. It quite suits some of them. I don't know how other males regard it, but as it seems to be catching on, I doubt they mind at all.

i think most women now like men wearing pink as i have been noticing
as for me, i like guys wearing pink, guys wearing pink shirts and still dont lose the MAN inside that PINK shirt, you know.., its great to see a man in pink still establishing his manliness...

I think that pink is more of a feminine color. I don't think I could actually imagine a man wearing pink and me being attracted to him, although men who wear pink are most often assumed to be sensitive. There may be an advantage to that.
