Being unemployed and looking for a job is very stressful to me. Since i passed my board exam, stress and pressures start to hunt me. So what i do after a day of job hunting, i go to mall and do some window shopping and try some shoes and clothes. at times, i look for ice cream shops and try different flavors of ice cream. and so far the best thing that i did to cope up with this stress and pressures was i went swimming with my family and friends. i put all my energy in swimming. i exhaust myself diving and swimming. since the resort is exclusive for us, i shouted aloud and release all my anger and disappointments and frustrations.. please do share your coping mechanism to stress and pressures...

This is certainly an area of my life that needs a bit of improvment. I find that allowing myself some time to cry relieves alot of stress. Crying is not a sign of weakness or mental illness. Everyone does it and some should do it more often. I also like to shop but find that may cause more stress b/c of adding up all the reciepts at the end of the day. Talking with my husband is an awesome stress reliever as well as a way to get a different perspective on my issues. Sometimes talking with him makes me realize that my problems really aren't as bad as I think they are.

Definately there is a job for you, but you have wait without tention. Walking alone or even taking deep breath are some easy ways to remove stress. I only want to tell you that destiny is simply the strenth of your desires, if you cry at trouble it will Double. If you laugh at trouble it disappears like a bubble. So be happy.

Okay at the moment I am trying to be more physical and sometimes this does work and it helps me be a more relaxed person but like I don't know when my mind races and I just don't know how I will cope all I can do sometimes is let out some of that emotion by crying when it is all too much for me. I do like to run now and then and I do feel that does a world of good for me. It also keeps me fit and on the ball with things. I think sometimes if you try to remain positive then you just cope better because you make a habit of doing well because you are thinking well.

I have been exposed to various stress this past few days but the best thing I do to cope with it is I keep myself busy. I dont normally try to think about the thing that gives me stress. Rather, I do think of the times when I am not in stress. I would try to go out with my friends, too. In this way, there would be less times you get pressured. You just need to relax.

I work as a tech support in one of the call center here and I can say that it is pretty stressing and frustrating. So, at least twice a month, I go to SPA to have a full body massage. That is my way of releasing my tension and stress, it is a good way since your body needs care as well then if I have time, I sleep or meet friends once a month. It works for me. Hope this helps!

Hi there sis chechuva! I agree with your styles in coping up stress and presures. I am sometimes like that too. LOL I can still remember before when I was on that situation, I couldn't sleep at night to think what would be my next moves for tomorrows. Really t'was hunting me those times. Life is really challenging as ever. Just still hang on with your hope and be determined to reach your goals. No need for you to be sad, maybe I can help you though. Would you like to be a teacher online? Try to pm me if you're interested. Success is just a matter of timing and hardwork. Have a nice day. ^_^

I will graduate from the college. I am also under the great pressure as you. My ways to cope with stress is to let me have many things to do. For example, now I bury myself in preparing the Tem-4 and self-teaching exam. So I don't have time to think about other things.Of course, when i graduate from college, I will find that it is difficult to find a good job.But the efforts which I make during this period can be take effect then. Besides, I think your method is good.

There are different ways of coping up with stress. What I do when I am stressed is I play with my baby. I sing aloud as if there's no tomorrow. I cook pasta and eat icecream and cake.

I will not think about anything and just go to sleep or doing exercises. You should tell your friends or family, it will make you feel better. Eating something sweet will make you happier! Relax~

Swimming and working out in general IS a great way to release stress. Writing for me helps too, and just screaming sometimes helps too! I used to eat to deal with stress and all it did was make it worse. Sure it was soothing AT THE TIME but afterwards it made me feel worse. I have fallen back into that every now and then but fortunately the incidents are happening less often. If I absolutely don't feel like working out, writing a blog is the next best thing!

I also have been looking for a job for several months now and the pressure is definitly on (especially since I live in Michigan). This is definitly bad since the pressure is from not having a job but I deal with it through shopping lol. When I am in a bad mood I like to pamper myself also like getting my nails done or trying out a new hair style. Other ways of dealing with it is working out. To me theres nothing like breaking a sweat in the gym to let all of my frustration out, plus its helping me!

Apart from exhausting yourself physically, you should also do so psychologically. Put your preoccupations to paper, particularly when trying to sleep. Keep paper and pencil next to your bed and dot down whatever is bothering you if it prevents you from sleeping. Very often, subconsciously, an answer matures. And if not (yet), keep cool and try to be systematic in approaching the solution to your problem during daytime. It's alway good to sleep 3 nights on a possible solution before taking a decision.
