um 4 gb over ram should be sufficient, dual core processor, some kind of Nvidia, Geforce and a couple of giant fans, well that's my rig now sans the fans, but i really wish i had larger ones because my computer gets really hot and loud when i play crysis.

I think the best configuration for the computer will be the new intel processors the e series which supports up to 3 GHz. of processing and if given with load can stretch to more than 4. It has more buss than older version which is better for faster computing. In my opinion processing plays a vital role in computer performance. Another thing that is really important for gaming is the graphics card. It better to go with nVidia Geforce which comes in many config. now a days. The best one will be gigabyte by Geforce which supports 512 mb of graphics with 64 bit of resolution. I think i need not tell more about this. Now comes the RAM. You can put 1 GHz. of RAM thats now a standard in any computer gaming arena. You can also upgrade it to 2 GHz or 4Ghz. according to performance you need. You can also use this computer configuration for using animation and graphic softwares such as Combustion, Maya, Photoshop, Illustrator etc. Overall I think it will make a great GAMING machine.
