How about making a bobbie trap for the stealer, ant catch him? we use money for bite, and do fishing for the stealer quitely.

we've been thingking of how to make good trap for this stealer and even a surveillance camera.
but you know this stealer has pattern don't want to repeat his job in the same desk.. so we get confuse to determine which one desk will he targets next time.

why should there always be a stealer in any places?
i just can't imagine in our religous organization has a stealer.
i agree with you to keep going up. we can tolerate this stealing thing. it would bring a bad culture in our office if all of us keep silent and do nothing.

it happened to me also. i lost some food packets that i kept in the desk. later it was found that few housekeeping staff were responsible for it. we did not reported this as they could lose the job. You can do one thing. better report to boss and let him decide.

the problem is we still searching who did all these stealing.
it's real serious problem in our office.
and the bad thing is my office doesn't want to deal with police. so they only hire some expertise to solve this problem and did some interogation to all member of the housekeeping employee.
it's sad actually.
i just lost my money today.

This just happened to me yesterday. Someone took $5 from my clutch. I really feel like its my own fault, because there are lockers available and I just haven't had the time to pick up a lock. I should have known better than to take money to work with me, but always like to keep a little on me, because you don't know what you might need during the day. Those that were there at the time, suggested I tell my manager. I don't know that I will, but I learned a valuable lesson.

I had a problem once with an employee who was stealing from others in the workplace and taking supplies from storage. I confronted him once warning him that he would be fired if he continued this activity. He seemed to stop for awhile but after a few weeks it started up again and was taking money and other items from others while they were at lunch, I had to let him go with no hesitations. He was upset at the whole thing but only had himeself to blame.
