Yahtzee?

Yahtzee is one of my daughters' favorite games and as we were playing today, I was thinking about how much math it involves and I was wondering how many other people play this game. Do you play? If not, have you ever played?
For those who don't know, yahtzee is a dice game that has a specific score pad and it requires you to roll 5 die of the same number to be able to get a "Yahtzee".

I have never seen the handheld one. I bet it is fun! I will have to look at it for my daughter as she loves the handheld games and she loves Yahtzee.

I grew up playing Yahtzee. Its one of my favorite games. We still play it at family get togethers. Even just my husband and I play at home sometimes.

It is such a fun game! I am glad to see that others are still playing it. I am excited to see that people still play games like this and I hope that there is a new revival of board games and games like this. My kids and I still play card games and I enjoy that. We also have learning games that we play quite often.

WOW I haven't played Yahtzee in such a long time. lol I remember it was fun, and we played it all the time.
I think we stopped as my daughter got older and had a life outside being home with her parents.

You are probably right about when you stopped playing as I know that we don't play with my oldest daughter as much. I wonder why we don't play games anymore like we did 10 years ago.

Yahtzee was a game my family and I played quite often on game night when I was a youngster.The rules of the game certainly are simple enough to understand for anyone
and has an even amount of luck and strategy to make it a fun little challenge.

It is a great game and a lot of fun! I think it is a perfect family game and a learning tool as well.

It probably would help your son and he would have fun doing it and wouldn't look at it as math. My daughter has learned so much and she doesn't realize that she is learning while we are playing.

i havent played this for awhile but allways used to like it..it was a easy game to play besids the math part, but that isnt too bad..i prolly wont play it for awhile even when people get together to play games as it isnt a game people i know play anymore

I bet if you would get a game out when there were people there that they would play. I know my daughters' friends even like to play. Adults forget how much fun simple games like that are.
