Most definitely! - But, as with any 'normal' business though, you do of course need to put in hard work and effort to make a 'decent' wage. You can't expect to 'make a fortune' if you only put in one or two hours a week to develop your business. Make sure you choose an internationally available, good-quality, consumable product, preferrably with a money-back guarantee. Avoid buying loads of 'stock'. A good payment (commission) plan is also an important factor, with no 'breakage' in commissions to the company. Personally, I'm involved in the Health and Wellness industry, and my business is now in 5 countries and expanding. I regularly help new people start their own thriving businesses. (Feel free to contact me!)

Look , multilevel marketing is undertaken when the product has to target all 3 area. International , national and local . Such products are realeased by big MNCs or govt organisations where they target the rural as well as urban market If your product is designed for local use then you may go ahead with direct selling

MLM is scam..pure scam..direct selling of? If there is an actual hands on product..then you are able to make as much as you are able based on your sales ability.

There are some good companies, like American Communications Network and Amway. Log on to: programcritque.com or programreview.com or alwaysreview.com or mlmreview.com or homebasedbusinesspros.com/MLM-Topics or pr.com or onlycritques.com to get reviews of MLM companies.

My recollection is most of it, if not all, is a scam. Somewhere, someone is making money, but not usually the ones who are putting it up.

Depends of you.MLM(multi-level marketing) that means that you must sell on more level, but is very hard when you start. If you are prepared to do sacrifices you can try.I said sacrifices, because when you are in this system, you make your own programm and you work for you,but you lose time, precioes time from your life. When you get tyour money you are the only who knows if that is deserve.

Multi Level Marketing nowadays is a fashion. everyone is looking for soft maney & MLM is a honey for the performance. But look with different angle. A man taking the costly product always go to a person who will buy it. And here is the failure. The concept of MLM is amazing. But when the theme reach a bottom level it gets dirtier. Few things I note are - 1. Relatives & close friends go away though friens away come closer. 2. 10 people earn while 100 people do not. Hence its reputation goes down day by day. Those who have introvert nature are in trouble in this system. 3. The end level of MLM is uncontrollable. 4. Most of the people just make use of relations to join the system but since they do not understand the concept properly, it becomes a failure for him hence he leave with curses. 5. It is a good source for strong performers and have huge scope for earning.

Direct selling I beleive in. I have made some money with direct selling. MLM there is a few good companies. But the product has to be something that 90%, of people can afford to buy.

It depends on both the MLM and the person who is doing it. I've known people who have made money off of MLMs, and I've known people who made no money - if you want to make money, it has to be the right MLM, you have to get in early enough that the market is still open to people that you can refer, and you have to be diligent even when you aren't profiting, so that you can later profit even while doing less work.

I still believe in the power of direct selling in realizing the dreams of a better life, at least for the hardworking and energetic people. MLM is a part of the bigger umbrella of direct selling. Direct selling is just another method of distributing products, from people to people system. It is neither bad nor good, by itself. It is the people using or participating the program who are sometimes destroying the reputations of the industry.
