Brunner has written a letter inviting Madonna, who grew up in Bay City and the Detroit suburb of Rochester Hills, to accept a key to the city, The Bay City Times reported. Oh, grovel, grovel, grovel. Personally, if I were Madonna I would tell them where they could go and put their highest honour. I mean if they couldn't do it 20 yrs ago when she was doing everything to shock everyone (and obviously succeeded in some cases!) they now wait until she is a sedate 49 yr old with kids living in the UK and they want the publicity. But I bet Madonna will accept it, as any publicity is good publicity. Ho hum!

Yep I agree, if they didn't want her then, she shouldn't want them now
