Do you sleep with your husband in the same room, on the same bed?

My husband and I sleep on separate rooms. He sleeps with our daughter, and me with our 3 boys. My daughter cannot sleep with the airconditioning unit turned on. And you may have guessed it, my sons cannot sleep when the A/C unit is turned off. I wonder if there are others in myLot who are in the same boat as I am.

My husband and i have had seperate rooms since before we got married actually..reason being he farts and snores and is a touchy spooner type and I am a bed/blanket hog and freak out when I'm touched in my sleep..Plus he likes his bedroom to be immaculate...whereas I'm organized in a very disorganized way LOL

I was beginning to think that people perceive my situation as weird, until I read your comment. Thanks.

I don't see anything weird in this scenario at all. You do what works for you. My hubby & I do it too. He is a bed and a blanket hog, I snore. Neither of us can sleep comfortably with the other. Really not that big of a deal. We have a great relationship, we just don't sleep together ... by choice.

I'm going to agree with the others, it does seem like an odd situation but I won't cast judgement because I'm sure it's purely innocent...if it wasn't I doubt you'd broadcast it so openly. Maybe you should try to get the children used to sleeping with or without the a/c respectively or figure out a way to have 4 bedrooms in your home. This sleeping arrangement can't continue indefinitely. Anyway, our situation is different because for now we're living with his parents. There is an extra bedroom that hopefully will be done enough for us to move into soon but at the moment we are sleeping on separate couches in the living room. His oldest son has his own bedroom and the oldest2 of our 3 boys share a room. The baby is in the partially finished room and we'll share that with him soon. It's going to be strange because it's been a long time since we've shared a bed.

Is there a reason that your husband doesn't sleep in a room of his own rather than with your daughter. This sounds very strange to me also. I would think if your daughter is in school and stays that she sleeps in a room with daddy and mommy sleeps in a room with the brothers that it would raise some questions~ not that I am accusing, just stating what people might think. I can see sleeping in seperate rooms, but they should also be seperate from your childrens rooms. My husband and I sleep together in the same bed.

My son doen't like to sleep by himself. Most of the time he will jump in the bed with my husband and I. He sleeps so wild that I go and sleep with my daughter. So. I know what you mean. We spend half the night bouncing from room to room. If I don't go in the room with my daughter she will pile up in the bed too. It's only a full bed. We bought a house and they were use to sleeping in a smaller space before. They get scarred at night.

My husband and I always slept in separate beds but in the same room as I snored like crazy and he thrased all over the bed. that way we were close but not uncomfortable either. the best of two worlds that way.
