Have you ever read any Chinese books? what do you think of them? Do you like any Chinese authors?

hehe, i am a chinese,that after reading your discussion i thought or guess you are a chinese,the chinese books that a large ranges,and i am reading to much.and i thought that the chinese authors is good at thinking,and their works is full og philophoy.

absolutely i have. i'm a Chinese. :) my favourite authors are Jian Nan and Cheng Tong. maybe you have never heard about them. it doesn't matter. anyway, welcome to Mylot.

hey i guess you are a new user,right? it's clear that i have read many chinese literatures coz i'm Chinese...hehe...just a joke^^...i think the most difference between the literatures in chinese and foreigh languages is the spirit. we can't judge from the translation of chinese literature to decide what it can tell us...coz the spirit of chinese literature can't be simplyly translated...for example , the chinese ancient poems from Libai or Dufu and so on...there's a n example from the poem from Sushi:????...a phrase in it:?????...in english it is translated into: Hold the drink and ask the sky...lol...the spirit are all changed. but in a word: i like both chinese and foreigh languages literatures coz they are all very beautiful...^^
