What's the key to a clear complexion? Amazingly, the secret lies in your cupboard and it won't cost you much. It wasn't until recently that skincare gurus switched from prescribing creams to focusing on food. Experts explain that beautiful skin on the outside begins with good health on the inside. You'll never look your absolute best unless you eat right. After all, food nourishes every part of your body, including your skin. One of the best incentives to eat for beauty is that your overall health will improve along with your skin. Not only will you get a silky, smooth complexion, you'll also have more energy. Healthy people are easy to recognize. They stand straight, their eyes sparkle and their skin glows. There are three best foods to put on your grocery list to promote better skin, Buckwheat, olive oil and cherry tomatoes. Do you have beautiful skin? Do you use expensive skin care products for your skin?

fish liver oil helps the skin... So does olive oil :) (obviously not rubbing it on your skin, but having it in your food)

Fish oil and olive oil are both good for overall health. I used vegetables oil for cooking because olive oil is too expensive for me.

hehe, I use sunflower oil, for the same reason!! :) Actually, I heard that putting olive oil in your hair is very good to strengthen the hair and to prevent dandruff... I haven't tried it because it feels kind of discusting pouring olive oil in my hair, also it is quite expensive!! :) but if you want you can give it a try! :)

I currently take a high ptency multi-vitamin everyday. Do you think that covers all of the nutritional requirements of tomatos, buckwheat and olive oil? There is a picture of a tomatoe on the bottle but it doesn't mention anything about buckwheat or olive oil on the package.

I am not well verse about multi-vitamin. I know one should take multi-vitamin if one think that the food intake is not sufficient or lacking. I think what best is to take food in their natural form.

Maybe a simple beauty rituals may make wonders into our skin unlike putting tons of different product. Also having a healthy diet will also do the job. And lastly having a positive outlook in life will surely reflect our outer appearance.

The secret in having a beautiful skin is just living a healthy life. Like what you have said, it doesn't have to cost that much. Though there are some products that will help in beautifying and maintaining beautiful skin, the key is maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Eating right kinds of food with the right amount will really do the best job. I am not beautiful but I have a very good skin. I have a fair complexion. And my secret is simple in maintaining it even though I am a mother of two... plenty of water and fruits. I dont eat oily food that much and fatty foods. I also limit myself in eating junk foods. I use mild soap with my skin. Actually olay soap is the best for me. But i also use dove soap. I am also picky in using make up for my face. I think choosing the right one that fits our skin is better esp if you have sensitive skin.
