CARTOONS: for kids only?

I am 43 years old. But I love watching cartoons. I watched all the 3 Shrek Movies, they are my favorites.
With a 6 years old step-son, I watch a lot of cartoons because he dominates the remote. So I have no choice but to watch what he is watching. And I am enjoying it... I love Spongebob Squarepants too.
Cartoons is entertaining to me. And kids learn some lessons from there too. My step-son would wash his hand after using the bathroom because he watched it in cartoons. But before we kept on telling him to wash his hands and he wont do it until he saw it in cartoons.
So do you still watch cartoons? Or you think they are just kid stuff.

46yo here-I've been a fan of Cartoons all along,and as for computer animation,a Pixar fan since I saw their "Luxo Jr" short years back (it's still available on an extras disc with "Ratatouille",which I went to see in the Cinema!)
I bought the Incredibles DVD after seeing it in the Cinema too...The "Mikes New Car" short extra on "Monsters Inc" made coffee come down my nose! Cartoons are NOT just for kids-South Park sure isn't..

I guess you are indeed a cartoon fan. I watched all those dvd cartoon collections of my step-son too... when he is not around.

i still watch cartoons, and i'm 26. i think that there are cartoons that are really only for kids like dora or diego. but i like spongebob and i believe that some of the humor in it is aimed for adults that are watching with their children. i love shrek! i hope that they make a 4th. my sister and her husband watch cartoons too. so you aren't the only one :)

Not at all time and I think cartoons is also for an adult person with a young minds. And like me, I like cartoons because I am relaxed when I watch cartoon movies and I don't like violent movies.

I still enjoy the re-runs of Voltes V, Daimos, Mojacko, hunter x hunter, remember the cartoon programs aired over our local television channels back home? Sadly, the cartoons here have been changed anew. I don't get to watch TV so I don't follow cartoons now. I just spend time over the internet.

Yes, I still remember. I loved that Voltes V and Daimos cartoons. I can still sing the them song of Voltes actually. Sadly, I didn't like it when they translated it into tagalog. And yes, cartoons have really changed a lot, I don't like the drawings now.
