A baby named Lali is born with two heads

Recently on March 11, a baby was born in India with two heads, one body. She has two noses, two pairs of eyes, and two pairs of ears. People think she is the reincarnation of a Hindu goddess. But let's be rational here, what would you do if you had a baby with 'abnormal' features? I keep thinking of all the trouble the kids going to go through while growing up, yet at the same time, I can see how this has created a *positive* fascination among people.

I am wondering why this is happening so often in India. Remember the one who had 4 arms and 4 legs? They thought she was a reincarnation of a goddess and even named her after that goddess. They have since removed her parasite twin and she is doing well. There is a teenager in the USA who has 2 heads and they seem to be quite happy. When they took the driving test for their licenses they both got one. They claimed that even though they have only one body that each has control of their side of the body. They are treated as 2 people in school. They even have different taste for food. Sometimes the other twin can be removed. But most parents look at them as being 2 humans and do not want to do that. It would be a hard decision for anyone.

When I hear things like this I thank God for giving me 6 healthy and normal children. It could happen to anyone.

I never heard of the one with 4 arms and 4 legs, but I couldn't imagine what it would be like. The story about the twins with two heads was an interesting one, I saw a clip of it on youtube. Strange, very strange but amazing at the same time. I have so much respect for the parents and so much admiration for them.

Well, I think this baby is lucky to be born into a society where they have this belief. Else in a society like in America - they'd be ridiculed and be desperate to undergo whatever surgeries necessary to "remedy" the condition.

I read this earlier today, and was amazed. I just hope that the villagers do nothing in the long to try and harm the child, even though they think it is a reincarnation.
