i know a lot of americans are hurting coz of the economy and the recession. i have read so much and seen so much on how life changes because of this. in my area, all you have to do is walked around and you will find so many houses for sale, i dont know the reason of it but i am assuming they are losing their house coz they cannot pay the mortgage anymore. i was told that the rate for apartment renters are pretty high and that really makes me sad coz i know how hard it is to be in such position. anyway, election is coming and most are having this questions in their mind if this will be the CHANGE we are all waiting. i see so much going on,,i watched part of the debates and i am wondering if they can keep their promises or will be just a pure lip service to get more votes and left us hanging after that. are you voting? mind sharing your choice and the why's behind it. i am ecstatic on how much the youth of today is participating to such CHANGE. i am hoping we all do the right thing and whatever we decide will help us build our hurting country again. thanks a lot and i am open with criticism, suggestions, thoughts, whatever... just shoot me! :) takecare and ittyl...

As far as I am concerened, everything that is said in the political realm is nothing but lip service. They only care about themselves and how they can help out the big companies. No one in the election cares about the little average people who can't afford things. People are starting to choose what they need more, Food or Gas for the vehicle they own. the Iraq War is up there on the list. And none of those running have a suitable plan for that. The economy is in shambles, New Orleans is still rebuilding. The US Gov't said it would take years to rebuild the destroyed fire houses in New Orleans. The Leary Firefighters foundation have rebuilt some of them far quicker then the Gov't said it would take. I am not even sure if I will bother to vote.

hello, i know most of this is lip service but part of me is hoping that the next administration can really make a difference in this country. there are so many people hurting and suffering really bad because of the economy and the price of gas going so high. yes, i spoke with someone that says they live in their car coz they cannot afford to go to work everyday, that is really something. regarding the war, i think they are just saying stuff regarding it coz they know people wants to hear about it and that is all. in my honest opinion this country needs to start taking good care of it's own people and straightening it's own economy and security before they can do it to someone else's country. the people here pay the tax but they are not really getting the benefit of it. anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts. appreciate it! takecare!

This is a really big deal because the economy in America affects the whole world. Here in the UK we are suffering in some sectors, and it's probably just a matter of time before we go into recession. I have watched some of the election coverage over there on Sky and I don't think anyone can live up to their promises. I just think there are too many needs, from too many people. It is a good thing that young people are taking an interest, I would agree with you there. Incidentally, no I'm not voting, they wouldn't let me because I'm a Brit!

hello icequeen123, such name make me feel cold, haha! LOL, i dont think you will be qualified then haha! yes, america place such a big role worldwide so it is just a matter of time before everyone can feel it. it is sad how many people out here are losing their jobs and just living out of food stab. my sister is living in finland and she always tell me that US is always on the news and worries about us out here. i doubt that whoever wins the position can live up with people's expectations and their promises as well. yeah, i am happy that the young are voting, unfortunately that's not how the position take place coz it is based on the delegates and not the vote of people itself,,, i honestly think it is very primitive, oh well! thanks for taking some time to replied, appreciate it! takecare!
