God forbid anything happens to him...I'm not ready to deal with that right now. My three most significant memories would be: Riding in his semi with him and spending the whole day just him and I while he worked. Him teaching me how to mow the grass and work in the garden. The first time I saw him in the summer of 2007 after not seeing him for 22 years...we both cried buckets. He hasn't been in my life alot and I know he regrets that now but neither of us can change the past. I love him anyways and he will always be my Dad. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

My Dad also has a magical green thumb. I've always said he could grow dirt. He can throw a handful of seeds in the ground and up pops the most amazing things...seemingly without any special treatment other than the normal things. I've been known to kill cactus' though. I'd love to be able to garden like him. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Hello, MissLadyCC. I am sorry about your loss. I feel lucky and happy for still having my father near me. He will always be remembered by me. One day, my mother was arguing with me, but she wasn't telling the truth. She was saying to my father that I did this and that, while I didn't. Yes, I was wrong for doing something I shouldn't do, but she distorced it completely. Then he told me that, if I want to be listened, I have to grow up and appear. This got into me, I believe this is the way life is. If you want to be listened, you really should grow in other's opinion. When I was a kid, he said that I should be more than what he will always be. He told this to me and to my brother. A simple thing to say, but it is what keeps me motivated to keep going. He told that in the sense of job. He said that I should work and study to get a better job than his. And another thing is his calmness. He is always so calm, he almost never get stressed. I mean, he does, but he can control himself. He can control himself, and if not for that, he would be divorced from my mother years ago. She, sometimes, acts so unfairly, by yelling at him with no reason. He always keep his mind in its place, though. Respectfully, Munhozmib.
