I mean seriously. think about it. Do you think Bill Clinton really wants his wife to be president -his wife now has his old job? Which would also make him the very first ever "first gentlemen". Does he really want that job - her old job - a "woman's job"? IF not, would he not vote for Hillary? Of course tell everyone he did, but since he is in that booth alone (at least we think he is!) only he knows who he really votes for. He could vote Obama just so she doesn't win, just so he doesn't have to do those things. ON the other hand, if she wins, he gets those nice high paying jobs, back in the lime light and sitting pretty for at least 4 years .... Pres Bush will be voting for someone this year. Does he just stick with Republicans no matter what just cause he is? What if he doesn't think the republican candidate is president worthy for some reason...just cause he was president and republican, doesn't mean he has to vote that way. And what if Laura Bush thinks Hillary will be better than McCain? Does she have to vote REP just cause she is and an X first REP lady? And Al Gore, John Kerry, John Edwards - Hillay beat them all out. Do they vote for her just cause she is DEM...or maybe a bit of normal macho male rears its head and they vote Obama just to not vote for her? Of course we will never know as they vote in secret like the rest of us and don't have to say who they did vote for and of course, they could just lie nad say what the media wants to hear and be done with it - who cares - they are not president anymore. What do you think? So many options, so many answers and even alot of humor packed into this answer!

Those are all great thoughts about why one would vote or not vote for the other. Good thing the voting process is private since if we asked them we couldn't really trust their answers anyway. I guess it's just as well that we'll never really know the truth about who the politicians and their wives really vote for. I have to say if my husband ran for president, I don't know if I'd vote for him. He'd make a fine president, but what a very difficult job it is for the entire family.

Good discussion buddy but who knows what they would be doing behind the polling booth, they might say something and do something. I think Mr.Clinton will vote for Obama after all he would supporting the Males right.

Thanks! I was hoping that'd roll over during the night! I have alot of fun here. Probably seldom has anyone ever thought about it! that's kind of what makes it funny. And the polls, no, I have never been contacted nor know of anyone that has, nor seen any surveys or online polls for same. Hum...makes you wonder on that one too!

Isn't a vote for Hill, a vote for Bill anyway??? I think Bill is voting for anyone but his wife, he likes retirement and doesn't want to have to work again unless he misses the infamous desk that he had so much fun at in the past...

That's what I am saying - but does anyone ever think that? I mean, granted so what, but just for conversation on the talk shows (and here) I have never heard anyone talk about this. Eye raising as it could be!
