My birthday coming up..........

Yes another year is arriving and as I look back at the years gone by I see a lot of change. Would I go back through these years, some I would but others I would like to forget ever happened! Looking back as we do there are things that I would have liked to have done differently, but wonder why we cannot see this at the time! Maturity may have something to do with it, but wonder how nice it would be if we could see it at the time and do things differently. Could this be part of lifes' journey where we wish we had not done certain things? Have you wondered why you have done something but at the time it was not thought of as being anything but another phase?3 people like this

Looking back I could say I would do things differently if I had forth thought but where would be the lesson in that. I believe things we do good or bad are what makes us the people we are today, so I look at each birthday as a new chapter in my book of life. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Hello my long lost friend and how right you are, as what we do in our life are for reasons and looking at each birthday as a new chapter is a nice way of putting it. I have a few regrets but each year it does seem to not be as big an issue, and waiting for the day it will be no issue at all! Thank-you for your birthday wish and STICK AROUND MORE!

best wishes for your birthday caramello.is going to the dragon concert your birthday present.now when you go to this concert and think way back when you were younger,probably at this concert years ago,you must take a moment and reflect and see if you would have wanted to change any of these good years.i don't think i would want to change a thing,especially those good old rocking rolling days.i often think sometimes why i did things and its history that can not be changed.i am just a bit wiser now,sometimes.lol.happy concert,cheers sue

Thank-you sue and to tell the truth seeing Dragon is for my birthday treat but would make any excuse just to see them. I still think you are so lucky to have had that time with Marc. Oh and no doubt I will be reflecting back on the years that night but will still behave as hubby and daughter will be there!

Yes indeed and still wish that i had gone to a college that had Batchelor of Sciene degrees in library science so I would have become a reference librarian rather than just another person with a degree in English and nowhere to use it as I did not want to be a teacher not at fifty as that is when I got my ba in Endlish.
