Green Star

Today I reached my first 100 post. I think a bit slow for being with myLot for 1 week already.
My question is what does the green star before my name with number 5 really means?
I know a lot of you have ideas about this one and I even asked this already to my referer, I just need more insights to clarify my thoughts. Since I noticed others got red star and others had blue with numbers 8 9 or 10.

we only rely our ideas from other members because mylot did,tn give any explanation about this. 7 green star are the lowest among all. it is usually seen if you reached 100 post. but you star now is different, i am not sure the color but some what gray with 7 meaning your ratings increase. star in your username symbolizes your activity with regards to rating your comment. if you post very informative that touched every body here they will rate you higher plus, the reason why some members with 500+ post got 10 blue star similar to members with 5000+ post with 10 blue star. it simply means the basis of that star is not the number of post but the ratings. thanks for posting.

I think you got a point, I seen members with more than 1,ooo post but their star is also green with number 5, mine has changed earlier to gray star and 7, so I think green (5) is the lowest rate.
About the rating, I think I need to know more about this one, I dont know yet how to rate and never been rated also.
