I often see many people especially the youngers text the short message even when walking on the street! And one of my best friends also enjoy texting rather than calling, she always by sending messages to tell we where we should meet, for me,I think it's a time-wasting method and I like calling except it's a long-distance.Calling is quicker and easier, isn't it?So,how about you?which one do you like better in your life!

I too am a texter! I hardly ever make a phone call these days, I much prefer to say what I want to say in a text. I think the only people that I phone are my mum and my grandma and that is not as often as I should do. If they both liked texting I would probably text them too!

I prefer text messaging, its silent and can be done in places where speaking is not allowed or on classrooms

i don't mind both, depending on the person i'm talking to- i might either sms or just call them straight. for me here i think calls made during off-peak hours are definitely cheaper so i dont mind making a call. it depends i think. if you're going to have a "long" conversation with the person you're communicating with and there's many info to be told then it's best to get the message across by a phone call.

I like texting and also calling. But texting is much more convinient when it comes to expressing more clearly. Though calling is quicker and easier, expression comes much better while texting.

It depends on the situation. If it is going to be question / answer / question answer, like making arrangements to go something and do something, then I would probably call. If it is just a short "i'm letting you know" sort of message, then I would probably text. I also think that emailing is a good way to communicate. Sometimes when I'm on my pc late at night (which seems to happen a lot these days), and I want to get in touch with someone, I might drop them an email. That way I don't get them out of bed to answer the phone!
