This article was forwarded to my e-mail as I really wanted to stay and live in Singapore if given the chance and the opportunity to build a career and at the same time, an stepping stone to move to a more developed country. According to the article, Singaporean just think about money and they can't live without it. Well, who can live without it? How can we eat? :)
Singaporean cannot call people in a nice way, but they can say "HELLO " in a not so nice tone of voice. Well, I actually experience that before and I decided not to eat in that restaurant. Again, that is according to the article.
Singaporean also are against the Malaysian people for some reasons which was not mentioned. While I was in Malaysia, Malaysian will also say the same thing that they don't like singaporean as they are boastful and money minded. Is it normal for countries who was once one country before Singapore separated to Malaysia.
Most of the resources of Singapore are coming from Malaysia that is why I was thinking that it is impossible to have this issue. I just don't really know what is the situation and how Singaporean really behave.
Keep posting,
Mickey

I wouldn't chalk it all down to hearsay. If you could I would suggest trying to find a penpal that you can write back and forth to and ask about their country. If Malaysia and Singapore are rivals ofcourse one country will say bad about the other.
Just keep researching and looking for singapore sites that give indepth ideas of their culture, I am sure there are many of these sites around. Good luck in your search and remember, keep an open mind and eye because not everything you hear and see is going to be true.
