This poor gal down in Texas is fighting tooth and nail to protect consumers from contaminated tea. Her husband drank some and got instantly ill. The stores and manufacturers are not at all interested, and the government agencies keep passing the buck. Turns out that the processing plant is in close proximity to an oil refinery and such lovely things as hydrocarbons are being passed into the product. read this harrowing tale here http://www.reddiamondteaistoxic.com/ brava to her for all her efforts and expense to help protect the consumer, no one else seems to care... I wonder, all those people who scoffed her off if they are going to be buying any of the product for their family?

Odd how that the government would allow this to happen since they are suppose to check all those plants LOL I couldn't get the link to work. Was this premade tea?

I always wonder why people buy that stuff. It is so much cheaper - an easier since you don't have to carry the jug around - to just make tea at home. I find that the prepared stuff tastes funny.

yes, they taste funny (especially when they have hydrocarbons added!) I have only purchased a jug once and that a couple of years ago - we were traveling and it was on sale and it was cold.... something we could all drink.

I wonder why they do that? They wait until someone or several people get really sick then suddenly everyone cares...Good for her for making an effort to bring it to everyone attention!
