Why did my earnings go down???

Well my money didn't go down but they didn't go too up either. Since the last earning update i posted almoast 40 times and yet i made 18 cents.

Hmmm....never encountered this problem before. Yes, I think you did the right thing by writing to the mylot admins and I hope they can help to sort things out for you.

I would assume you either responded to a discussion that was deleted or you started a discussion that was deleted. I've only had this happen once over a year, so it doesn't seem to happen often as far as I can see. If a person starts a conversation that is in violation of mylot rules & someone reports that conversation, it will end up being deleted.

Discussions and responses are re-evaluated and as they are, you may see you earnings go up or down. Discussions from today, yesterday or even a week ago may be deleted and your earnings will be adjusted accordingly. I keep track of my daily activities and pay and I see some days go down a few cents and sometimes they go up a cent or two. It happens. Now, if you are talking about more than a few cents, there could be a glitch unless you have been really naughty...lol...but if it is only a bit of change this is probably the reason.

Hi there jess, I hope it has been resolved by now. I have had some problems with my computer and therefore haven't been able to log on. I have just read this discussion through my email notification link and so I don't know how other people have responded to your questions. I must admit that I have just read a discussion from Crash saying that the admin department has been doing some work on earnings - did you have any discussions deleted? I hope by now that they have replied to you, if not send them a reminder! And more than that I hope your earnings have gone up. There is nothing worse than spending a while on the computer, typing away only to find that you haven't even gained monetarily for all your effort. Good luck :)

seems they've been readjusting the amounts due to people violating guidelines. some have had their money go down or had they're accounts banned, others have gotten some of that extra money credited to them.

it may be the case that few discussion you staerted or responded got deleted. may be mylot adjusted the earnings so its went down. it happens to me many times. also i get posts reduced so often.

Strange i heard this happen to some one else at mylot, almost 15 cents were down from her earning tooo i am not sure as i never noted or recorded my earning well if u are loosing money then its ur right to get angry and know the reason i dont think there is any clause of reducing earning in myLot Take care and wish u all the best

well, there have been other cases of this too some of which i experienced as well. i'm sure many have already told you by now hehe but still, they went down most likely due to your posts getting deleted or the topics where you posted on got deleted. some say that sometimes, mylot itself have some errors too though not often. these are the only reasons i know so far. don't worry. i too was surprised and disappointed at first but this is part and parcel of mylot life. grins

i think the only reason is that u have not followed the rules of myLot. though i am new than u i still think that u might have posted any referral links and they might have deleted. if that is not the case for u, nothing to say other than sorry for u

Sometimes if you have joined in a thread that has been deleted then your earnings will go down, and mylot are really slow at answering so good luck.
