I came across a site today of a man in dire need of help. I did donate to him and I think everyone who reads his site should. All I could donate was $5, but if it will help him, so be it. Please check it out. The URL is http://www.talktotheman.zoomshare.com/. God richly blesses those who help others. So may God talk to your heart when reading this man's story.

I do like to help those in need. Whenever a can shows up on counters to help a local in need of a medical procedure, I do donate. However, online, I'm extremely wary. Mainly because we do not know this person and don't live near the person and therefore cannot verify they exist as they say they do. Anyone can set up a site exactly like this one, make up a sob story and post it. Unfortunately, those who do it fraudulently take away from those who are real. The problem is, how do you tell the difference? I have heard stories of real live people who have been helped in manners like this. But again, how do you know THIS one is real? As much as I'd like to help, I warn you to be very cautious of such sites.

I decided to do some quick researching. The address is valid, it does appear to be a house in a rural residential area. The address and person are unlisted in phone books. Plenty of neighbors are listed though!

You are very smart with your researching and I want to assure you that I am a real person in real need!!! My number is not listed because I wanted a private number feel free to email me at sam.lockwood42@yahoo.com and I can email you back my phone number. i would put it here, but that would defeat the prupose of having a private number!!!
