Tennessee redident William K. Anderson, 51, tried to apply for welfare benefits in Lee County, Va., but was arrested after arousing suspicion by arriving in a 2004 H2 Hummer with Michigan plates. "We though it was unusual that a high-dollar vehicle with out-of-state tags would be at the department of social services," County Sheriff Gary Parsons said. "So we ran the tag and found out that it was stolen."

Now that takes some brass ones. I mean to apply in such a way and have a stolen car right there where it would stick out like a sore thumb is just asinine. What was the man thinking; take that back he obviously wasn't thinking at all. At least the cops were thinking and checked it. I bet he's wishing now he had left the hummer at home.
