Anyone originally from Florida????

I am currently in Cali but born and raised in Tampa, Fl. Spent 22 years there & I LOVE it, but I could never live there again. To hott, to many bugs, and WAY to many old people!!! I was actually born at MacDill AFB, lived in Pensecola, ocala, belleview/summerfield, silver springs, wesley chapel, and Tampa!! I Miss home and love to vist!!!

I could not agree with you more. I am born and raised in Orlando, FL. But I live elsewhere now. I would go back to visit...but not live. They have too mny bugs is right. Coackroaches and Palmettos (flying oversized roaches) are horrible thing there! If just for that reason, I would never want to live there again!!! I don't think I can say too hot though. Because where I am now, it gets hot too.

It can get very dry here. So much to the point that you can shock anyone without trying. Pretty funny when you go to kiss the kids goodbye! LOL

I'm not originally from FL, I am from NY, but I do live in FL right now, it's beautiful the weather right now, summers are very hot but I still like it here. I don't know if I'll ever live anywhere else than FL, I'm not moving back to NY can't stand the winters, too cold.

haha I don't think I could ever live back in FL!I'd love to visit NY . . .never been there and I've NEVER seen snow either!!! That's my christmas present tho . . .my husband is taking me to Big Bear to see snow!!

I'm originaly from Florida. I was born in Orlando, Florida. But now I live in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, but I do miss living in Florida. It was nice there.

I am freom Tampa, Fl. I grew up there and went to Gaither High School. I am in Pennsylvania right now, but we are moving back to Fl. after the new year. I also lived in Oceanside, Ca. when I was a teen for three years. I loved Ca. it is so beautiful there!

I was born and raised in Florida and still live here. Not sure if I will ever leave. I love being close to my family. Maybe one day we will move to Australia!!! *Wish you would move back*

I laughed when I saw your post. We had actually considered living in Florida, but you are right about the summers being way too hot and the bugs as big as houses. We do love to visit there though. Shells restaurant in Tampa is a great place to eat. Did you ever eat there?

No, but I do love FL! I go every chance I get. Just got back from there a couple weeks ago. Can't wait to go again. Just wish it wasnt such a long drive.

I am from Ft. Lauderdale but now I reside in Dunedin. If I could move out I'd go back to Redding, Ca. I too am sick of old people, mostly scientologists. The bugs never really bothered me. The heat isn't so bad, just the humidity. And the best place here to eat has got to be Frenchy's

Yea, the humidity was always bad . . .that's one good thing about so cal. There's hardly any!!!
