asr 10/mpc midi connections

I connected all my midi wires correctly and tried to play and record asr sounds into my mpc using the mpc as the sequencer I followed the asr manual in every type of set up suggested and still hear no sound.Can someone tell me how to set my midi commands in the asr so this type of set up can work.I'm not new to midi I use reason as a sound module to the mpc but can't figure this one out and theres alot of people with the same problem cause i been to all the forumns and noone has the answer.If someone knows how please email me at deoriginoo@hotmail.com it will be appreciated
