Did you know that a baby infected w/HIV can pass it on to the mother

through breast feeding? It is rare, but it can happen if the baby has mouth sores and the mother has sores from breastfeeding. In Central Asia 72 children were infection from 2 different hospitals. ah, I never thought about that - I guess I just never thought about infants having hiv unless they got it first from their mother. I reckon it makes sense that it could happen - body fluid and open wounds mixing and all.
