Carly being unreasonable?

While it is true that he was closer to Kate, I don't think it was unreasonable of Carly to say he should have tried to protect Michael. If I were ever in a situation like that with my son and my husband, I would hope that my husband would protect our son, not me. Remember, Carly is watching her son lie there in a coma, after having a bullet in his brain. I don't think she should be expected to behave rationally. In almost any other circumstances, I can't stand Carly. She is very demanding, selfish and unreasonable. This time, though, she has a right to be that way.

I think you are absolutely right. But Carly is a distraught mother and extremely jealous of Kate to boot. I think this could be the beginning of a breakdown of sorts for Carly, adding to this the fact that there are alot more 'truths' to be uncovered. She is sensing that there is alot more to Sonny and Kate than he is telling her, and well when she finds out about Jason and Liz, her little world will implode knowing that she is not #1 in their lives anymore, she is being extrememly possessive and protective of her kids. Maybe a case of too little too late?

Had Carly heard the entire story (Kate being right there and Michael being across the room) then I would have agreed with you that she was being unreasonable. But because she only heard Sonny say I pushed Kate out of the way, I think she was RIGHT on target.

Yet again Carly blames Sonny for something he couldn't help. I wish Sarah Brown would quit being 'Claudia' and go back to being 'Carly.' No doubt Laura Wright has done stellar as 'Carly', but I remember when the role of Carly was originated, and I can't ever forget that.
