I downloaded the program Inkscape from the web and am trying to learn it. It has many feautures that are comparable to Corel Draw which I can't afford. Has anyone ever used this program? Any problems with it? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Hi Naty, This is an old discussion but no one has replied yet. Do you still need the program? I am not sure about Inkscape but I know about Corel Draw. What do you want to use the program for? I suggested 2 FREE alternatives to the industry-acknowledged best - Adobe Photoshop. We don't want photoshop because it costs money. If you need to tap the full power of the software, I suggest you download GIMP from http://www.gimp.org . Alternatively, if you want it just to do "small" things (like me, I use this occasionally), download Paint.net from http://www.getpaint.net . These 2 come highly recommended by experts and they are FREE!

Hi: thanks for responding. I have Adobe Photoshop but wanted something different. I went ahead and downloaded Inkscape but what I need is something better like Corel Draw however it is too expensive. I will check out gimp and paint also.

But but but, photoshop is already the best there is! Or are you looking for something simpler and less complicated? Try paint.net if so.

Corel Draw does things that Adobe Photoshop shop can't do. Thanks for your comments.
