Sometimes we do something without considering others' comments ,and that's our freedom. However,we must face a embarrassing problem ,if we can really just be ourselves and despite other' comments? I always feel that it's difficult to do so.Maybe I'm a coward, but in some special conditions,I feel so helpless. For example, last night,my roommate told me about her story. She said a boy was pursuing her seriously, but she didn't like him. However the boy doesn't give up,and tells his and my roommate's friends how deep he loves her.As a result, some friends say my roommate is a person who can not feel one's true love and maybe can not understand how to be a good lover or a friend.I think she is very innocent... I want to know if you come across this problom, what will you do about it ?

i think we chinese are more likely to concer about face-saving. growing up in this culture, it's really hard to just be ourselves. however, it's you who knows you best. i am trying to be myself. and once i've decided, others cannot influence me much mow.
