Ups and downs in mylot community

I have been in mylot for a year now. To me, of all the forums that I have joined, mylot is the best. I have gained so many wonderful friends, improve my English usage and most of all, I have a place where I find answers to my questions, share information that I have and update myself from current issues around the world. But there is also a setback. Some of my discussions were deleted without ever knowing whats the reasons behind it. I was a blue star and then a red star where I am now. My rating was always somewhere between 93 to 96, but recently it went down drastically to 88. All of these really dishearten me. There were time when I wanted to quit. But when I think back, this is one place, probably the only place that really connects me to a lot of thing. It is a one stop information center for me. So, I decided to continue as long as I can. So, whats your experience like in mylot?

I must admit I do enjoy my time here on MyLot, and although I don't always manage to earn a huge amount here, I love the discussions and responses here. I took a break a little while ago to deal with some issues with my family and have just returned. I have stopped worrying about whether I will make enough to get a payout, I'm just here to have some fun

actually my journey is somewhat similar like you.sometimes its blue and next moment red. now its red for few months, but the reputation is still at 97/100.
also i never figure in today's hot topics or even in today's top discussion. it really irritates me. its not that this is what I am here for, but atleast once in a while those can be there.i never get much response also.it feels bad. still i come back as i ,like the discussions here. i value friends here.

I agree with you Ellie. I've had one discussion deleted but I think I know why even though I think it shouldn't have. Anyway, MyLot is the best paycheck too and easy to reach payout because friends really respond here. And it is a fun place to connect and learn a thing or two also. It's been a nice experience for sure.

Yes i am also agreed with you. Mylot is a place where you can make good friends and can get a lot of free information and also you can get answers of your questions.
If mylot decrease your points or rating etc then you should not be dishearten because this is part of life. Ups and downs comes. So we should not give up anything.
Just think that they are paying us for enjoying here. Is there any place that is paying you for have fun?
