do you use paypal?

i have been using paypal for a time.recently i attached my creditcard to paypal.it told me that i am charged $1.85,i dont know why they are doing so and i was told the money will be paid back until i enter the code within 2-3 days.but i dont know how to get the code caz i haven't receive any letter from paypal yet.is it a trick?

This is how paypal makes sure you are who you say you are. What you are suppose to do once you receive the charges, is log back into your account and verify the amount that they charged to you account.

It is not a trick . Paypal is not cheating
They are just verifying your credit card's
credibility . And this charged amount will
be paid back into your paypal account when
you make first transaction with your paypal
account .
your Credit Card's new statement will consist
of the Paypal charge and its transaction code .
This code has to be entered at theverification
process of your Paypal account . This can be
done within about 3 months (NOT JUST 3 DAYS)
