Okay here is my attempt at taking a picture of my ultrasound pictures. I have a pretty good camera so I am hoping it looks okay. Its amazing how good these ultrasound pictures have gotten. I remember my 1st borns they were like heres the head and im going what your kidding right? And now they have these 3D ultrasounds which I have just learned a little about its getting impressive. So what is your experiances with ultrasounds? Ever seen someones pics of their baby and thought what baby?

Aww, that's so sweet! Ultrasound pictures are so exciting, aren't they? I remember every ultrasound I got with my little girl. I kept them all and I showed them off to everybody I knew, and everybody I met. I had the really cool 3D ones though. Those ones are AMAZING!

When my daughter got pregnant that happen to me....she was showing me so proudly the ultra sound pictures and I would nod my head like I could see what she was talking about.....six years later my son and his wife got the ultra sound pictures and I could see everything...she was sucking her toe in one and in the other she was rubbing her eye!!! It was so cool! I started her scrapbook out with a poem about her and the ultra sound pics...I hope she'll not be offended when she is older by looking at the pictures from her ultra sound!

My two ultrasounds were in military hospitals so I didn’t even get a copy! I don’t recall much about either ultrasounds, except for the first one where they made me drink a ton of water then were 20 minutes late taking me! My son is 9 so they didn’t have the 3D or 4D they have now. A friend of mine had her baby done. It was so cool! She paid $400 for it though. I think it is worth the money.

I wish I could afford to have the 3D ultrasound but I cant. The ultrasounds suck you have a full bladder and then they start pressing on your tummy its like oh no im gonna pee my pants lol. So why wouldnt they give you copies just curious?

The first one I had, they didn't have film for the machine. The second one didn't even make copies.

I have seen some pretty rough ones. The technology behind them is amazing now though. Even the ones that arent 4D and all are still good quality. I got the 4D one done with this daughter I couldnt afford it with my first. Here is a link to those if you want to check them out. When are you due again? I know you told me but I cant remember. I am due anyday now! http://www.shareapic.net/content.php?gid=241178&owner=babykeka80

I learned of the 3d ultrasounds a couple of years ago and, I am also extremely impressed with them. You can actually see some features. And, as for the older stuff, yes, I have been confused by them. Always like, "ummm...that blob is what now"? LOL! As for your picture, I can tell that that is a head and I think lips and a nose. I am guessing the nurse couldn't see "her" gender because it looks like she was laying on her back. Maybe next time "she" will be facing the camera a little more. Talk to "her" and tell her that cameras are her friends. Tell her you would really love to see her front profile this time as you are getting excited to meet her and want some good pictures to tide you over before she arrives. It is amazing to me how natural calling her "her" and "she" feels. Makes me really think it is a girl...even more so than a few days ago!

All these baby topics are making me want another child lol! That is a nice U/S picture. VERY CLEAR ! I got a lot of ultra sound pictures with my son. Some of them are very clear, you can see his arm, his heart beating and even his big ol' head. I have seen some pictures of U/S that look like peanuts.

wow, very good definition there. my last child born 6 years ago - was high risk so we were referred to a specialist ultrasound state of the art center.... it was in color and really much better than anything else at the time, but paled in comparison to the results produced today.

My mom saved my ultrasound photo and I remember looking at it and wondering how in the heck anyone anything from that mess! Turns out, they couldn't! My mom's ultrasounds were wrong for all 3 of her children. We scanned our daughter's ultrasound pic at Walmart a few Christmases ago and used it on our Christmas card. That was how we told our friends and family that we were having a girl.

Your right about the not being able to "see" the baby the ultrasound guy was like "Oh look there is your bundle or joy" and I was like "where?" LOL. Anyway i am glad you got a very good picture of your baby, congradualtions

i have an ultrasound pic of my daughter that is so very clear, so very detailed, it looks simply like a black and white photograph of her as a newborn. ive had others ask me how old she was in the picture, my reply? she wasnt even born yet. the advancements in such technology is amazing.

If I saw the baby right, I think the baby looks so tiny and cute! When I had my son, I also took an ultrasound to determine his gender. I was so happy to learn that it was going to be a boy, after my firstborn, a girl. So how many months old is the baby now? Did they let you know the gender yet? I guess you're really excited about that baby now!

Ultrasounds are so amazing. To think they can take a picture of a baby that is still unborn. I am sure they are helpful in making sure the baby is healthy too!

First off, Congrads. I remember when i has my ultrasound pictures done of my son. It was one of the best days of my life. To see my son that was growing inside of me, to see the life I was creating, well with the help of his father of course. I still have my pictures, they are in his baby book, and they are something i will treasure for all time. Your picture came out really good, and I can see your baby. i am excited for you. I have only seen a few other peoples ultrasound pictures and I could tell that it was of a baby, like you said technology has gotten so much better, that they are able to take good images of the developing fetus. Once again congrads. Jess

Its great seeing pictures of babies inside the womb, I have got loads of mine, especially my daughter as I had to be scanned every month!! The best one I ever saw was when my friend had her first scan done and because she had got her dates wrong all we could see was an egg!! It was really funny, eventually though the egg turned into a little girl!
