Discovery Channel's Fight Quest

Has anyone seen this show? What do you think of it?
I caught it one night and after seeing one episode became a fan. It's interesting to learn about differnt fighting styles, but it's also moving to see Doug and Jimmy work so hard in their training and final fights.

I've only seen the show once. It was at my sister's house and she is a big fan. I think the show is pretty interesting. Doug and Jimmy are pretty tough because it looks to me like their job is mostly getting beaten up every week. Then again, I am sure there are some fighting styles excel at, so maybe the beatings aren't always so bad.
I'll have to try to catch it more often.

I think one thing I admire about Doug and Jimmy is that they aren't afarid to get hit. I guess they are just used to it given their jobs, but wow.

I'm a big fan of fight quest! It's a heck of a lot better than other shows (like Human Weapon, which it does NOT knock off! And what's with a show like that being on History Channel, anyways?)
Anyways, the first season was great. And now I hear that there will be new episodes starting 9/26, starting with FIGHT QUEST: THAILAND and FIGHT QUEST: INDIA. I just was a preview for their Wing Chung episode in Hong Kong, and I'm excited! They show them on the Discovery Channel at 9:00 and 10:00 PM, with re-runs during the week Wednesdays at noon.

i've been watching the show for a while and i actually quite like it. i missed out on a few episodes though because after watching the very first i forgot when it's on and didn't really wait up for it. it's weird but i had a funny dream about it which sort of sparked my interest again, and i've been watching it ever since. jimmy and doug are pretty tough because aside from taking all that beating, they still choose to go on with the training/fight even though they get sick or injured. i think it's confirmed that there's gonna be a season 2, so i'm watching out for it.
