i love shoes.. any kind of shoes...
but what im looking to buy now is a chuck Taylor converse. i already have one. though its really expensive, but its comfortable. i always where it specially when im going to a far place or i have an errand to do.
im still saving my money for my next CT.. i really wish to buy one soon...
i posted one of my prospects... in time i'll buy it... it's 2690PHP..

Hmmm, you planning to buy it at a mall or look for it at Divisoria? We know that we could really find affordable priced items there, the only toil would be finding specific items like what you mentioned. 
I also happen to like that kind of shoes.. they seem to be referred as sneakers. I have a red one at the moment. Bought two white pairs, one black and my brother bought himself a black leather type. The one you posted in the discussion does look nice too.

Aren't athletic shoes and sneakers the same?
Who doesn't want to get their money's worth? Of course you'd be after quality. I just go to legal distributors when I go to Divisoria to buy quality items.
From checking the shoes alone, we could tell if its an imitation or not. The rubber lining along the soles as well as the alignment of the toe cap and that rough point as well. You can also distinguish fakes from the heels, on how the "All*Star" is printed. Aside from that, though meticulous, the stitches can also be a determining factor.
Hmm, its the first time that I heard about the cotton canvas fabric color fading due to washing... I guess I just don't wash mine, maybe I'll try and see if I do have imitations 
I also prefer wearing such shoes when going through a long day of walking. My reds are also high-cut. ^_^

I never heard of those kind of Shoes, I have heard of Converse though. I really don't like Tennis Shos, only if I am walking, or Jogging I am not a Tennis Shoe person.
