My hubby is a pillo hog, he needs two pillows on top of each other to sleep. And if that is not enough, he would fold the top pillow to make it more towering and that makes him sleep good... snoring good. I love pillows and I usually have two too. But I don't use it on my head. I use the pillow for my legs. Like my hubby I will stock them up to elevate my legs. Guess we are strange couple So, how many pillow do you need to get a good night sleep? Could you share with us how you use it? And why?

I am more like your husband a pillow hog, I need atleast 2 big sized pillows under m head to get some good sleep. My mom always shouts at me that i may catch up with some neck problems later in my old age. At times my dad when ever he comes across my bed he used to remove of the pillows and i always used to fold my hand on the pillow to make it more towering. Without a pillow which is enough height i cannot get some good sleep.

I see, at first I don't understand why, but he told me it's just how he wants it and it's a habit. THanks for sharing.

Hi ruth.. One pillow is enough for me. I use it too to elevate the lower portion of my body. I dont use pillow on my head, I feel dizzy if I do it. NO pillow on my head while sleeping sort of corrects my posture, a friend of mine advised me way back high school.

I guess two pillows are normal for people, though having more is not a problem. It depends on where people feel comfy and can get good night sleep. thanks for sharing and welcome to myLot.

I have 5 pillows on my bed. One small one for under my bad right knee. I cannot have it straight. The other four are piled up for when I read or watch TV in bed. Then I pull one down to the other side to sleep. I don't have to share my pillows with anyone on my queen size bed. Unless you count the cats. I do have to share the bed with them, but not the pillows.

We have about 12 pillows on our bed, so I do not think you are strange at all! I had to sleep with my feet elevated when i was pregnant with my daughter or they would be too swollen! My hubby is funny, if i get out of bed he always puts a pillow next to him while he's sleeping - i guess he notices I'm not there anymore!! Sometimes we have too many pillows, sometimes it seems like there are not enough. But I think we're happy and sleeping so that's good for me!

Wow 12 pillows, that's a lot. I will be needing more pillows too in the future to elevate my legs because I am having a baby now. And you are right your hubby is funny for having a pillow as your substitute. thanks for sharing.

so if you and your hubby are sleeping, it will look like a boat . i use no pillow for sleeping. even i can't sleep if there is a pillow under my head.

I need two, my boyfriend starts with two and usually knocks one off the bed and our daughter needs one or two depending. Now our daughter sleeps with us so we start with 6 pillows on the bed and usually end up one on the floor (from my boyfriend) and one at the bottom of the bed from our daughter and 4 remaining on the bed in the right spot in the morning when we awake. I need two, very fluffy ones to snuggle in with. My boyfriend likes flat ones because he sleeps on his side or stomach and doesn't want a kinked neck. And my daughter likes fluffy ones and then other times she complains they are too squishy and wants a firmer one (she is only 3 but very opinionated). They usually sleep better than I do, but that's only because they both snore and I have to listen to it!!

Same with my hubby. He would like two pillows for himself and always, I would pick one up every morning. Well, with regards to snoring, you better sleep ahead of them so you will not have to deal with it. Me and my hubby had to struggle with that too because we both snore and we both get bother by each other's snoring. So the trick is, I sleep ahead of him so he has to deal with me.

I have 3-4 Pillows. One for in between my knees one to huggle and then 1 to 2 for my head depending on how soft or hard they are. My youngest brother is worse he has like 7 pillows.
