how many is to many

I wouldn't get a tattoo right on your hand. Most tattoo artists won't do them if they are reputable for your sake and the sake of their reputation. The hand and feet take more abuse than other body parts and tattoos there will fade or turn into a black blob the fastest due to unavoidable sun exposure, and just being worn from dirt, sand, hand washes, etc. Not to mention wearing gloves. An artist usually gives free or cheap touch ups on their work, but will often not grant that to hand and foot tattoos because there is no way they could keep up with it. Also, you can really never cover a hand tattoo up as wearing a glove is not appropriate for many situations if you ever wanted to.

hmmm.. i dont know about that... i think it depends on how much you want to have... i guess if you had your body covered with tatoo then its already too much. he he

I have four tattoos, each one of them is my own artwork and done by a very professional tattooist. Personally I would not have a name, any name, as a tattoo but that is my own opinion. All my tattoos are on my shoulders and upper arms, easily hidden under a long sleeved top. I wouldn't have a tattoo on my hand though, that is a little too obvious

Well I don't know exactly have many is too many, I guess that would depend on the person and where the tattoos are located on their body. But I have 7 tattoos all on my arms, if I don't want people to see them I just wear sleeves, I do however have one on my hand and cannot cover it so I don't know if that would effect me being able to work with the public.
