BEST response, do you check it out?

Don't get me wrong here. I am not asking if you check the number of best response you received. Neither am I asking if you check out the best response you get for responses made. Whenever you came across a discussion where best response has already been given, do you seek out the response and read it? Are you curious about the response that is awarded the best? For me, I do so selectively, especially if the topic has caught my attention. Though I may not have responded to the discussion, I do read the best response too. I do give it a miss if the discussion has pages of responses and the best response is nowhere found after few pages. Perhaps mylot should have a page of best responses. It certainly will make my life easier, I think so. Friends, how about you? Do you check out best responses? Thank you for sharing :)

Now that we get notifications in our emails about receiving best response, I now check it to thank those who gave them to me. I still answer discussions even if best response has already been selected. If I have something to add I will.

So surprising that now there is notification, I no longer check out my best responses and thank the owner of the discussion. If you are not awarded the best response, do you check out how the response made by the person who was awarded the best response?

sometimes I do just out of curiosity but most of the time I don't because I have to do so many things with my computer time that there just does not seem to be that many hours in a day.

Oh no. Absolutely not lol. UNLESS the best response happens to be on the first page and I am really interested in the topic. But normally, I don't need to consider this because discussions usually have not receive the best response. And if I am interested in the discussion itself, I will read every response on every page. I have done so in the past. The best response simply does not mean anything significant to me in the case of your question. Cheers!

No, I don't actually. I respond to discussions for two main reasons. Either the discussion is interesting or it is an easily answerable one. You see, accumulating money is more useful than accumulating best responses, So I choose to respond based on where I can possibly earn rather than where I can possibly bag a best response.
