Hello all, I have just thought about microsoft vista when my dad bought it last year. It had alot of flaws but it also had alot of features which i guess sorta made up for it. What do you all think of vista? Was it released to early? Please share your experiences. All responses greatly appreciated. Thanks. Post back. Aiden

Microsoft do that always, these are the reasons why they have service packs and updates. Like every Windows that they release there is always this period of adjustment from hardware, software and users but eventually it will eventually die down until the next new release.

That's an excellent way of putting it. This is why I don't make it a habit to jump in too early on their new releases.

Well, although they do fixes & upgrades but more often than not, in the name of "upgrade" is also another way to say - give me your money, your at our mercy, hahaha!~

well yes they released it too early. It has a lot of new features, desktop widgets and all, new looks and other more. But yes, it has lots of unfixed bug and its unstable yet. Maybe now it is but months ago, it was screwed up. i play games and i dunno about vista on games. is it a good OS for games?

I think it was released too early....I think you will find more flaws in vista than the features it has...also dosent suppost many old softwares....incompatible with old software...

hmm.. its not early. they anticipated it much though. But i personally feel its one of the product of microsoft which made people thought about it much before release. But the outcome is that all corporates are in the idea of taking it up due to its heavyweight...

vista is another piece of crap that is badly coded just like ME was. It wasn't released early because it was as good as it was going to get without large scale use and error reporting. If they had been responsible they would never have released it in the first place, but they had spent to many years invested in its development not to so they just chucked it out there and said everyone should spend the money to upgrade. Unfortunately too many people did just that because someone told them it was the latest and great and they believed them. Don't buy a new operating system until it has reached sp2, especially something from microsoft.

Did you know that the Vista Service Pack 1 is out? So far Home Basic & Home Premium SP1s have been confirmed to be out in our country & the price has seemed to drop quite a bit. It's a special campaign for our country. I guess it's due to too much piracy, haha.
