I couldn't find a pattern so I made my own

I've been trying to find a pattern of a crocheted heart made with worsted weight yarn. I've looked all over, I want to be able to make little stuffed hearts, hang them on the fridge, put them on purses etc. So finally tonight I sat down with my hook, yarn, paper and pen and wrote out my pattern as I crocheted it. I was very impressed with myself as was my husband when it actually looked like a heart when I finished!

That is a talent I don't have. Pat yourself on the back. I think it looks great. Me, the best I can do is latch hook a rug by a purchased pattern. Have fun with it.

Thank you. I can read a pattern and crochet almost anything, this was a first. I'm proud of it.

That heart is very good. You did an awesome job. I love to crochet even though I haven't done it in years. My grandson wants me to make him an afghan but anymore it is hard to find a good simple pattern and even yarn as they have so many different ones now. With no pattern I have no idea how much yarn to buy also.
Again I will applaud you on your own heart pattern, great job.
