Has everyone read the Mylot guidelines? I just finished reading the alert about the guidelines...the dos and donts and the does and donts of images. Have you all read this? What do you think?

yes i read it and i agree with it...but i think they are not actually doing what they promised since i have seen many topics that breake the new rules and they did nothing about it..maybe they will if some of us report abuse or something...well..it must be hard to keep up with everything..so we should help too:)

it makes sense to me...i realize it was a simple forum before...you could say/post just about anything...now with the site getting more and more attention, its a good time to set the guidelines... some people were abusing the system and creating useless posts (i am guilty of a few) and posting irrelevant pictures (not guilty)... i think the new guidelines will make for an overall better place for everyone...

I agree with you homer buddy, i'm guilty of a few of those useless posts too. Most of the images I add so have to do with the topic.

Yes, it makes sense to me as well. I have posted a few useless discussions as well but usually my images have to do with the topic of discussion, not always but usually. It makes sense to me too.

I think that the new guidelines are good. Especially the post that says you should do a search before starting a new topic and that the pictures that you post in responses need to have be relavent to the topic. I have gotten some obscure pictures that have nothing what so ever to do with the post.

Yes, I agree with you so have I. I think the images should have to do with the topic. Thanks for your response :)

Just finished reading the guidelines and I think they are very reasonable. I think if people are posting more intelligent discussions more people will respond.

I have read the guidelines that mylot sent in the alert. I read that you cant post certain discussions that alot of people have posted like whats your age or games, for example number games and lets count and things like that. Also that the images you post in discussions have to relate to that discussion or you won't get credit for them. there is alot there everyone needs to read them.

I read about that and I agree with mylot. There have been alot of ppl that have posted some some useless topics, me included. They have to be more strict I think cuz of all the ppl on here now. Thanks for your response :)
